We've decided to start more closely tracking the financial impact that our 2nd Saturday meet ups have on local businesses. We specifically only plan meet ups at local eateries and coffee shops that are 2A "neutral" or "friendly" by allowing lawful carry (not posting "gun ban" signs). After posting a brief recap of our last meet up on a local Patch website, the story was picked up nationally by AmmoLand and then by The Truth About Guns. From there the story was posted on numerous other websites, gun forums, Facebook and Twitter feeds. We also received a follow up Tweet from Uncle Franky's following our most recent meet up at their Plymouth location. It's estimated that our group spent about $1,500 during our November meet up at Mr. Pig Stuff in Shakopee.
