Tips & Suggestions

MN-RKBA’s position on interaction with the public and law enforcement while carrying:

Like it or not, each and every one of us is a representative example of gun owners and an ambassador for promoting the importance of the Second Amendment and educating the public on facts.

Peaceful expression and assertion of rights is paramount. We will stand firm on our right to carry, but we will do so in a respectful, courteous, and non violent way. MN-RKBA does not support, endorse or encourage those looking for trouble with law enforcement. If that is your intention, this site and organization are not for you.

Disclaimer: MN-RKBA does not purport to give legal advice. You are responsible for knowing the laws as they pertain to you and your activities. Always check multiple reputable sources when researching firearms- and/or carry-related laws, or contact authorities if you have questions or need clarification.

--Know your rights and always be well versed on the local or state laws, requirements and prohibitions regarding firearms that may apply to your actions and activities

--Be respectful and courteous when dealing with law enforcement

--Strive for positive contact with the public, LEOs and community leaders
